Privacy Policy

Cappy’s Warm Welcome is designed to be a quiet, private game. The current app works without an account and does not include advertising, third-party analytics, or tracking.

Information the app collects

The developer does not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share personal information through Cappy’s Warm Welcome. The app does not request your name, email address, precise location, contacts, photos, microphone, camera, advertising identifier, or payment information.

Game progress and preferences

Level progress, unfinished visits, settings, and personal-best information are stored locally on your device so the game can resume where you left off. The current beta does not send this information to the developer and does not provide an in-app account or cloud-sync service.

TestFlight and Apple services

If you install a beta through Apple TestFlight, Apple may process information such as your Apple Account, device and operating-system details, installation activity, crash logs, diagnostics, screenshots, and feedback under Apple’s own terms and privacy policy. Apple may make some TestFlight diagnostics and feedback available to the developer so problems can be investigated. The developer uses that information only to test and improve the app.

Voluntary communications

If you email the developer or voluntarily submit TestFlight feedback, the information you provide will be used to respond to you and improve the game. Do not include information you do not want shared. Messages may be retained as reasonably necessary to handle the request and maintain development records.

Children’s privacy

The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app has no accounts, ads, social features, chat, or developer-operated analytics, it does not ask children to disclose personal information. A parent or guardian may contact the developer with any concern.

Data security and retention

Local game data remains subject to the security of your device and backups. Voluntary email and TestFlight feedback are handled using the services through which they are submitted and retained only as reasonably necessary for support, safety, testing, and development records.

Future changes

If a future version adds features that change these practices—such as cloud saves, purchases, analytics, or online services—this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures will be updated before those features are released.
